Championship Weekend Arrives: Universal Bowl VII Headlines Full Day of UFLX Action in Clearwater

The road to a championship comes to an end this Saturday as the Universal Football League Xtreme (UFLX) descends upon Clearwater for Championship Weekend, a full day dedicated to celebrating the league's best players, biggest personalities, and ultimate team champion.

Hosted at Clearwater High School, fans from across the state are invited to experience a day packed with football, competition, and entertainment as the UFLX closes out its 2026 season.

Championship Weekend Schedule

10:00 AM – Gates Open

11:00 AM – UFLX Skillz Challenge

The league's most talented athletes will put their abilities on display in the annual UFLX Skillz Challenge. Competitors from across the league will battle for bragging rights in events designed to showcase speed, agility, athleticism, and football skills.

3:00 PM – UFLX All-Star Game

The best players from the league will take the field when Team Universal squares off against Team Xtreme in the UFLX All-Star Game. Featuring standout performers from throughout the 2026 season, the game provides one final opportunity for the league's stars to represent their conference and leave their mark on the season.

6:30 PM – Universal Bowl VII

The spotlight then shifts to the main event as the South Florida Lions and Georgia Cobras battle for the league championship in Universal Bowl VII.

Both organizations have proven themselves among the elite teams in the UFLX this season. The Lions put together an impressive campaign, overcoming every challenge placed in front of them and earning their place in the championship through disciplined football and explosive playmaking.

Standing opposite them will be the Georgia Cobras, who have been one of the league's most dominant teams throughout the 2026 season. The Cobras carried their success from the regular season into the postseason and now stand one victory away from completing a championship run.

With two of the league's most accomplished teams meeting on the biggest stage, Universal Bowl VII promises to deliver a memorable conclusion to the 2026 UFLX season.

One team will leave Clearwater as champions. One team will hoist the trophy. Both teams will leave everything on the field.

The stage is set.
